You won't get the three seashells.
You won't get the three seashells.
I hate to be that person who corrects something like this but the way he says "English" in that line always used to get me.
"I've had it with these monkey-fightin' snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!"
Haha yes! It's so perfect. "Oh."
Yeah it's mostly just that line, along with "Well, it turns out Vanessa was a fembot!" "Yes, we knew all along, sadly." and Myers' delivery of the phrase "sensual massage" that balances out all the horrible things about it.
Yes! I was confused about those being called deleted scenes - I never saw it in the cinema but remember them well from my UK VHS copy. I agree, love the weird shifts in tone and don't think they break up the momentum at all.
"My name is Richie Cunningham, and this is my wife, Oprah."
I still have a soft spot for the second one, if not just for the line "Isn't it funny how England looks in no way like Southern California?".
Probably not, the deluxe version has a few different features so I'm guessing they won't be compatible?
Really though? I honestly never found that it added all that much extra, though it was a fun twist. Mostly though I remember finding the game really slow, even on 150cc mode.
They more or less did! I played 8 online a lot and consistently did pretty well, it worked really nicely.
I always found Double Dash to be really slow and clunky to play, and never clicked with the double driver gimmick. Definitely not my favourite!
You mean Monkey Alan? Down in the warehouse?
To be honest I feel like this quote has run its course, and it's time for "eat the pudding, eat the pudding, eat the pudding" to be driven into the ground.
Creed drinking game - watch the video for My Sacrifice and take a drink every time Scott Stapp does a fist-clench motion. At the bit where he pulls himself out of a river into a boat and both Stapps fist-clench at the same time, down your drink.
Oh yeah there's plenty of that. But there's plenty of things that miss the mark too if I remember right.
Yeaaaaah it's a lil bit patchy all around, which is a real shame. I notice more and more questionable things each time I watch. I really want to rewatch it but I'm scared too many times will kill it for me…
Yeah I'll probably stick it out (think it's all on UK Netflix), good to know there's a payoff. Not a patch on Louie though - maybe I'm a little bit biased against Maron because of the Louie episode where he goes round to apologise to him and realises he already apologised for the same thing a couple years earlier?
Oh yeah I'd agree with that. It's a bit awkward to watch around the edges at times, not least because of Tina Fey's fuzzy handle on dealing with race, but when it's great it's truly great.
I guess that's why I'm still single.
