It’s gross to see more plastic than food in a pantry, fridge or freezer. I know we eat it & it lives in our organs already, but can we just cut back?

This is the kind of news story that asks a million more questions than it answers (not that I blame the journalists, it’s a breaking story):

I was curious about the village they were in and looked up the filming location. It’s a town north of Budapest. I recall having gone to a town north of Budapest back in 2007, coming back from Visegrad. Looked through some old photos, and turns out I took a picture of this square. I didn’t think I’d been there. I was

How online do you have to be to even understand this gibberish

Amber Heard might be the only real-life person with a veritable “rogues gallery”.

so it’s “A History of Violence” but with Toni Collette?  Sure, I’d watch that.  (I find Toni Collette with bangs pretty hot, but I still can’t process that she could actually plausibly be the mom of a 30 year old woman.)

“I think Miller has to take some of the blame for setting a call time that he knew his star wasn’t going to make.”

If Hardy was three hours late on set even though he knew full well what time he was supposed to be there he deserved to be called that and more.

Given the scope of this production, just showing up late is a massive fuck you to all involved. It wasn’t a bunch of people hanging on a sound stage, it was hundreds out in the desert shooting insanely precise scenes. He comes off as nothing more than a massive prick all around. I’m generally a fan, so this is

How are we not discussing our lord and savior of The Takeout, the Mayor of Flavortown????

So, Black creatives on Tik Tok are mad because they didn’t get to speak to Nicki Minaj for BHM? LMFAO at this. I’d get the frustration if the speaker was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or Bernice King, but Minaj? WHO THE F CARES. The fact that out of all the Black people they could find, people with actual value to the cause,

The first hour of Nightmare Alley may very well be Del Toro’s masterpiece. Then you realize the characters are leaving the most interesting thing in the movie and there’s still NINETY MINUTES TO GO.

This is like reburying a dead abused malnourished tiger.

Y’know what we’re missing? Carrie’s narration. In SATC it was those little “and just across town, Miranda was having her own rude awakening” etc etc that gave the show a common thread. This just feels like a random selection of scenes with no throughline. I’m bored. Even the Steve/Miranda scene felt slow and laboured.

NFT bro makes a bunch of positive assertions about NFTs but provides no actual evidence to backup the assertions (other than the fact that blockchain games are slow and nothing new).  Sounds about right.

Certainly not an ideal show, but I definitely appreciated the effort and that they went through with it. Like the SNL at Home episodes, it was comforting in these weird times to have the show on in any form. I hope everybody in studio was safe.

A fellow PR person cosigns this. Or, like, just DON’T go on Howard Stern in the first place.

Probably so, indicating that he knew that 100 euro wouldn’t be enough to cover the rent. And he knew that his wife is emotionally and mentally fragile, so that he probably played along to believe her story.

I’d really like to know if David Thewlis’s character knows the letter from “Gerard” was a fraud or not, because two deluded people supporting each other is a lot different than one. He had to be enough of a realist to know Gerard Depardieu is not going to write him a letter in English and send him 100 Euros, right?
