Re the sandwich board: yes it's altered for TV which can be confusing if it's the first time you're watching it and wondering why everyone's freaking out over an "I hate everyone" sandwich board.

SERIOUSLY. It's a hard movie to understand if you're not British and not into British TV and movies. I was basically translating it for a friend while watching it a second time and there was still stuff I didn't catch.
I was happy to hear Jason Penopolis' voice at first, but as the episode progressed and Xander became more and more unlikeable I wished they'd gotten someone else to do his voice.
Hunter was the best. When I was in university (like 15 years ago), it was played on TBS or something in the middle of the afternoon, and girls in my dorm would all flock to the TV to watch it. I'm not sure why, but we were all pretty addicted to it. I remembered watching it when I was a kid, but I was older than…
Yeah, I was kinda hoping for a more adult-aimed book, too. Her name is Hellcat, I'm surprised they didn't replace it with H-E-double hockey sticks-cat.
Wow, so he requested an interview with CBR to say "i've changed! take me back, comic book industry!" but it was full of lies. Very disappointed that Image would hire him again; here's hoping they'll reconsider. Will keep an eye out for his name on future comics so I know what not to buy.
Is somebody still hiring him?? He was dropped from Rat Queens right after his arrest but did he get hired for something else?
I loved Wytches, freaked me the hell out.
Yeah, that sounds like an impossible game. I heard this damn song in November.
Veruca Salt is definitely my pick for best album of the year, I'm still listening to it constantly.
I've only seen #5; when I was a teenager my friends and I rented it solely on the basis that the box showed one of the killer toys—Larry the Larvae—coming out of (or maybe going into??) a guy's eye. We just thought the whole idea of a larvae toy named Larry was hilarious. We were not wrong.
I literally just learned what it was a month ago.
Point 3: YES. The accent thing bothers me. Because the cast is FILLED with British and Irish actors doing flat American accents, and a New Zealander doing his best Foghorn Leghorn impression. It makes no sense to do this! It drives me nuts and honestly is part of why I can't take the show seriously.
The story, the writing is what I liked. Creeped me out and kept me intrigued. It's true the art is nothing groundbreaking (so far) but I think it's serviceable enough. Okay, that sounds like really faint praise but I'm actually quite picky about art so being serviceable isn't a bad thing.
I read the first Clean Room and I'm hooked.
It is Snotty, the review has it wrong
Holy shit, me too! I had it taped off First Choice with the text running along the bottom. And I totally wore out that tape, despite being a teenage girl and thus apparently not the right demographic according to this review. I also bought it on DVD a few years ago and it seriously feels weird not seeing that text…
Ah, that sounds like it's probably from a different incident.
on Girls, are you talking about Jessa getting an abortion in season 1 (the only season I've seen)? Because she didn't actually get the abortion. She blew off the appointment to have sex with a stranger and that's when she discovered she was bleeding—a handy miscarriage so she didn't actually have to go through with…
Hey, the Buffy and Angel fucking story was the one where I gave up! I always wondered if things improved after that.
