I agree, Pearl has a VERY different style and personality and I kind of resent that many people here (including Oliver) seem to think that a drag queen always has to be boundless energy and visible enthusiasm. You could see Pearl enjoying herself immensely at different parts of the competition but she just shows it

I think they stopped putting the crown on right away because it's too hard to fit it on a wig in a way that it will stay on. If I remember correctly, earlier season crownings involved the winner pretty much holding the damn thing on her head because it was constantly falling off.

I didn't even notice the "accent" until other people pointed it out! And I didn't even think it was British, it definitely sounds like that early 20th century precise diction so it does make sense for her character. Still doing out of character, however…maybe she does it all the time to practice and perfect it? I

OMG Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds!!!

Ahhh, true, it does take a while to figure out how to dress a new body. Not that I'd know from personal experience or anything. ……okay, yeah, I know from person experience.

See I thought crowning Violet gave the message of "I do listen to the fans" regarding Ginger, but also "it's my decision, bitches" with a side of "you can't sass me like Pearl did and still WIN, dammit" regarding Pearl.

She did wear some truly gorgeous dresses that were SO flattering. But she also wore some of the ugliest dresses I think I've ever seen on the show. Like that white nightmare from the top 4 episode. Or that cheap-looking bejeweled dress that she insisted was thousands of dollars. Her taste seems to be all over the

And what was up with that "I grew up in a conservative home where I couldn't speak my mind until I got on Drag Race and felt like I could speak my mind for the first time!" bullshit??? Yeah, I'm sure this was your very first time throwing shade, Ginger.

Yup. Never forget.

Yes, Ginger totally had that "I'm experienced and occasionally funny ERGO I deserve to win." And it does seem like Bianca's win may have inspired that—except Bianca is WAY more talented and funny and throws shade with wit and confidence.

EXACTLY. Ginger's constant shade-throwing was just mean and desperate and had this undercurrent of real anger and vindictiveness running through it. NOT cute, and not endearing.

YES, I'm sick of Violet being compared to Tyra Sanchez. Violet is FAR more likeable and charming, and her unshakeable confidence in herself—without a tragic story to go with it—totally won me over.

Ru's shameless manipulation for the sake of tears reached epic limits tonight, it's true. My roommate said she was surprised Ru didn't bring out the person who has hurt each of them the most in their lives out on the runway.

Thank you for the explanation about Sophie Campbell! I was confused about the artist change and thought "are they related?" and kept meaning to research it. Thanks for saving me time!

Actually, it WAS on The Soup, that's how I heard about its existence!

THANK YOU, Trixie's miming drove me nuts as well. I was glad she toned it down at her 2nd lip sync and enjoyed that one much more.

You guys, how are we not talking about the fact that Ru is now hosting a show on E! that is literally all about plastic surgery?? I caught the beginning of this….show, I guess you could call it…the other night, and I just….I mean…it's an HOUR-LONG show talking about plastic surgery. Where a plastic surgeon actually

Yes, the "old lady" brigade of Katya, Kennedy, and Ginger are 32, 33, and 29, respectively. IT'S BEEN PISSING ME OFF FOR WEEKS.

The Pear Dream! no….The Sizzler Sisters! no….Sex Girl Patrol! ohhhhh my god, you're right, this is hard.

I also thought for sure Kennedy and Pearl would win! But this season is so all over the place I should really stop even trying to predict anything.
