The i3 is about 1300 kg. The force with which it strikes a pothole is directly related to that mass. It doesn't need as much tire to protect the wheel as a car that weighs 2000 kg. As for "braking" distance, who cares what technology it employs to stop it in such a short distance? It is all about accident avoidance.

That's true. I recently saw an auto auction on TV where a 15 to 20 year old Ferrari was being sold with 288 miles on the odometer. I had more fun in my Mini Cooper in it's first week than the owner of this car ever had.

Flood works as a good enough reason to turn a supercar into a 240sx, I guess.

An LFA as a drift car? Please tell me that this car was destroyed in a crash and brought back to life and that a perfectly good LFA was not bastardized for this purpose.

Thanks for reminding me that as much as I think I want a motorcycle, I don't.

I'm sitting on my couch. He's sitting on a stack of tires.

Had a job in Athens GA that had me at a hotel not far from some government housing. Vehicle broken into twice, second time so fast that the radio hadn't even been replaced yet. I thought about taking action similar to yours, but with fish hooks. I was looking to catch my guy.

Same here, I'll leave you some space (depending on the situation) and I'll make eye contact, but I won't wave you in. The other driver is completely responsible for the decision on merging into traffic.

I won't disagree, they do feel nice. I had a carbon fiber road bike that felt like a scalpel and my old bike was more like a butter knife.

Have I ridden one? Yes. I have a pretty nice road bike, but its got parts designed more for comfort than weight savings. Absolutely cannot tell a difference in the performance due to weight. Say a rider weighs 155 pounds and his bike weighs 16 pounds, total weight is 171. Same rider but his bike weighs 15 pounds.

You should see what people spend on bicycles to save a few grams. The difference between a 17 pound bike and a 16 pound bike can easily be $1000. Want to drop it to 15 pounds, drop another couple thousand. Amazing the number of people that have $10,000 bikes that don't race.

The key to finding your keys quickly is to look in the last place first. I always find my keys in the last place that I look!

If only I could order one! I work at the plant in Spartanburg. Alas, it is not on the list of available cars. The M235i is on the list. Unfortunately, the one I had on order was redirected to a dealer as customer demand for a "new" vehicle trumps CPO with 5000 miles on the odometer. Hoping that when I order my next

I hope you took the time to visit the Zentrum (BMW's onsite museum) and tour the factory. I would have liked to sen you off. Could have offered you test drive of a 2015 428i convertible.
