Actually the detail that made me go “hmmm” is that the narrator is 33 but their mom’s OLDER brother served in the Gulf War (1991). I guess it’s possible their mom had them very young.

I’ve been doing GOTV postcarding to Texas. Honestly the fact that Beto came so close to beating Ted Cruz in 2018 is encouraging. I know “close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades,” but part of GOTV efforts is encouraging good voter participation habits that can pay off farther down the road.

Honestly the fact that people continue to use twitter and Facebook as platforms despite the fact that they are demonstrably, admittedly contributing to the decline of liberal democracy worldwide is truly baffling. The memes just aren’t worth it guys

I feel like the early/late dividing line is “at this time, if I’m not already out, am I more likely to go out than not if asked” and the odds are better at 9 than at 10, therefore, 9 is early. Especially in the summer when it’s still light out
