I'm sure people won't be using their back pockets as the usual place to carry it, but I like that the form factor allows such a choice instead of fumbling around for a place to set it down.

@xaronax: Sure you may not have to go into a store, but I do know that at least Sprint has business hours that you are able to activate a phone, Online and with the phone system. It can be quite a pain in a sticky situation when you need it right then but you have to wait til they open. This is a total non-issue with

Does Verizon not support carrier billing within the Android App store like T-Mobile does? I know there only app that I usually can't bill to T-Mobile are foreign, but I usually don't encounter that problem.

My childhood stint with Power Rangers and Zord obsessions got me ready for my graduation into Beast Wars Transformers. Now those toys were awesome. I made my parents buy me all the biggest ones including Optimal Optimus. But then after that there was a rebellious time with Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z. After I picked

I was a sad sad bear when the Beta email popped up in my email only to see it was not so. Le sigh

Smartphones may be able to play all the music you want, but most just don't cut it when talking about sound quality. I love the new Android phones but none of them sound as good as my 2 year old Sony Walkman that has a permanent home in my car . Pandora is the only thing my Vibrant has over my mp3 player, but if

@RT100: I did too until I realized they work wonderfully well on the Galaxy S and keep the phone cleaner in the long run. Less moving parts, the better. (only lords knows how many G1s I sent back to Tmobile for faulty slide out screens and LCD screws)

@Ian Logsdon: It does seem a bit DIY. Like someone just cut out their own shell to fit the keyboard and screen. The Motorola devour has that same amateur feel to it. But maybe we're just used to seeing plastic phones that have enough room to spare for extra glitz.

@Almightywhacko: Useful when you live in an area where having nice things probably means you won't be owning them for very long if you decide to flaunt it.

@blyan: Well sir, I'm typing this response on a galaxy s vibrant and as much as i try i can't seem to replicate the death grip. That being said, as the article mentions, the iphone doesn't require a grip. It just needs a finger. That's a serious discrepancy that Nokia and RIM have already mentioned. So your rant is

I dunno... Sony has been a lot more lenient on who uses their characters likenesses than nintendo. Kratos doesn't seem like much a dream, just more of a cash milking when he's just about to be forgotten by the masses 5 years from now. Heh...

@nowXorXnever: T-Mobile is not capped and the only cap I've ever heard of them having is at least 5 to 10 gbs. Not a measly 2gigs. So.. yea, that's that.

"It's a known, recurring problem. So why, after all these years, does something as serious as a flammable gadget continue to be an issue?"
