Speaking as someone who morphed into a curmudgeon at the tender age of 25 (and even before then, I was more of a dinner party sort of person), the prevailing idea of “going out” is highly overrated. Of course, I had no shortage of energy to go out for gigs, theatre, performances, dance parties, DJ sets, etc; however,

There are definitely bars that I used to like that just seem like hellholes full of children, now. But, there are places that aren’t like that. On of my favorite bars is a brewery taproom, the average age of patrons is probably 40, and they always have last call at 10 PM, so you can have a night out and still be home

I’m 34 and going out to bars used to be my absolute favourite thing in the world. Now I just fucking hate it. It’s 9:30 and I am in bed and I am THRILLED.

Exact same scenario for me, which is why I loved 38. Something - I don’t know what - shifted, and I became a woman who loved being a woman who could find satisfaction and pleasure avoiding the (imo) phony ‘nightlife.’ I started going to bed at 11:00 or sooner. I didn’t become the “home-body” that I am now (that was

Yes this is normal. My theory is that when we’re all young, we’re leaving our very okay living places in order to join up with other people in our age range who tend to gather in groups. When we’re young our living spaces may include roommates, or parents, or undesirable apartments with troublesome features. Also,

You still have A LOT of great years left. But that being said, if you feel like hanging at home, by all means, do so. Still, I was at my healthiest, strongest, and most fit in my early 40s. I also benefited so much in those years from taking (moderate) risks. Taking a few risks (career, social, etc) during those years

My brother was killed in a wreck on Wednesday. He was 29. He was a good man, with a big heart. He overcame a lot of obstacles and had gotten his life headed the way he wanted to go, and then he swerved to miss a dog in the road. Just like that, one thing, and he’s gone.

I second the sentiment of goddessoftransitory. I think there’s a sense of liberation that comes with being a post-20s single lady. Having said that, and as I was actually saying to a coworker on Friday, I’ll probably be 70 and still clubbing till dawn because you can take the girl out of Berghain but you can’t take

Don’t think of going out as being the same as when you were in your twenties: tastes change as you get older! It’s not like you still play with toy trucks and dolls for a good time either (unless you do and more power to you.)

The only had the one book

On the plus side, his dad, Charles Kushner, will be able to teach him everything he’ll need in prison, like how to make toilet wine

So...much...winning!

This is definitely not chaos.

1) She is looking increasingly like a Sim.

The only one that looks good in that KKwhatever picture is MJ. And it has nothing to do with the makeup, she’s just the only normal looking person in the shot (MJ is a keeper, the rest of them can be sucked back into hell where they came from).

UPS driver also blonde.

And on a vain note he’s way cute

I’m happy to hear that Oscar is a good insurance program. They market themselves really well, but I always wondered if it was one of those “good marketing but mediocre or bad product” situations.

I’m glad it’s working for somebody because my job switched us over to Oscar and it has not been great. It’s more expensive than our previous plan and with a lot less options. Our previous provider pulled out of my area so I get why we had to switch, I just wish they did more research into it.

And his girlfriend is Karlie “teach girls computer programming” Kloss.
