I agree with you on the door handles, but after buying an ML and actually using the Mercedes gear selector.... I love it. It’s nice and small but has a satisfying heft to it and was quite intuitive to use.

I already laugh at people who have their Model 3 handles freeze shut, this seems to have 2 steps that can be frozen solid.

No I have agree with this one. It's a door. Use a mechanical handle if it doesn't work it's an easy fix. And people don't die when the battery dies.

Hey here’s a wild idea - just use regular door handles that everyone knows how to use!

I do wish they would quit trying to reinvent the door handle the gear selector, etc.  It’s just one more thing that is going to go wrong, now get off my lawn.
