Porsche steering > Bmw steering. And the Macan has been praised for not being totally numb

No one ever brings up the fact that manuals sell well when they’re in the right cars. Manual’s aren’t dead as long as people buy them and the people who want them don’t want stripped out base model, or cars that aren’t fun to drive, or cars that are overpriced.

Actually no, the hazard comes from people having to pass on the right and constantly swerve lanes to avoid being stuck behind someone. It also comes from having to suddenly slow down because someones in your way, and this becomes 5x likely when all the lanes are getting slowed down for a long period of time. Frustratio

I’ll also give some blame to complicated touchscreen infotainment and A/C controls. So many cars are taking away the ability to change your heat without looking because its all on touch controls now.

Automakers need to understand that Manuals will sell to a very specific demographic, normally younger buyers who want performance and handling above all else, but also love practicality and being cost effective. The F30 was not the former.

That’s my point, they are. VW recently reported that 40% of their GTI’s were sold with a stick. Civic Si’s are flying off lots. I understand that it’s a bit of a risk, but its clear that if you make a car that can be cross shopped with a gti, golf r, mustang or camaro, in terms of price and driving enjoyment, It will

I still don’t understand why the Highway MPG is so bad, and why this thing is so slow. 29mpg is just a few ahead of some midsize v6 SUV’s.

Its a fair argument but not a good enough one if it means that every other aspect of the car has to be compromised.

I must add though, that interior is severely dated. And it was ugly when it first came out, too.

Bezos can easily pay for this raise out of his own net worth. He can also pay for Haiti’s debt payment to France (around 22 billion) but I’m not too sure he’ll go through with it.

I’m going to say this again as I have a thousand times before. This is not simply a case of people not wanting manuals, its a case of them being left out of cars that should have them and being limited to those that shouldn’t. The F30 had manuals, and some people bought them. But the die hard bimmer fans who always

ESPECIALLY Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and PA. a few thousand votes in either could’ve cost Trump the election.

Its definitely better to drive, a better interior, and has a Much better engine than any Subaru. With a tune this thing should be a beast.

The GTI Stock is just as quick, and handles almost as well. With the same money spent on tuning, a stage 1 GTI would massacre a stage 1 ST. The GTI also has a better ride, better rear legroom while being 5 inches shorter in length, better gas mileage, and the TSI engine is gold.

The upper trims with the upgraded infotainment have everything as touch.

Really shows how stupid the car industry has gotten, where even something as intuitive as buttons and nobs is something in need of saving.

Instead of doing this shit why doesn’t he make a deal with the rest of his company to make a decent interior with physical controls and driver infotainment in the right spot? This is the most shameless gimmick I have ever heard of.

$32k is still alot for a car that is still basically a toy...

lmao i fucking hate this band

It was very badly worded but true nonetheless. That being said I would be very glad to see exceptions to the statement in question.
