Terrible gas mileage to. EPA estimates are literally 6 below those of the GTI. I’m also afraid it will be expensive. I’m not sure if i’m ready to incur such huge costs just for RWD...

Civic Si or a used GTI with a performance pack. You can get a nasty deal on the civic and you get honda reliability, or get the GTI which packs a bigger punch.
