They need to make a GLI version RIGHT NOW. And with the same performance pack as the GTI. This car is lame for all I know. That torsion beam rear end and weak engine isn’t doing it any favors, which is a shame because its good otherwise.
And then Manufacturers have the audacity to axe the manual because they don’t sell. Well no shit, a manual isn’t the only thing manual drivers want you know. What about the more powerful engine, an LSD, most options? Of course manuals won’t sell if you banish them to the worst trim level.
“A motor on each wheel making 66 horsepower”. 4 x 66 = 264. The motors should in theory be running independently.
LMAO that’s better than what this guy did...
Wait, so 66hp/wheel = 264hp total, but 90 mph top speed and 0-60 in 9.6? Somethings not adding up. Also how are you gonna challenge the norm with numbers like that?
Well they sucked to drive and were noisy and thirsty, but I do agree with you on the design, they did look good for their time.
Wow, so that farmer who voted for Trump to protect his job and is now at risk of losing his job because of him says his vote is at risk? That’s awfully restrained if you ask me.
I really hope this road doesn’t have any stop signs on the slope.
I know right wingers will be trying to use this as a way to demonize Islam and justify the travel ban and what not for weeks to come, but I just want everyone to take note of the infowars-esq propaganda she was subjecting herself to. It seems she was acting directly on the premise of the Paul Joseph Watson video. I’m…
Only if this thing was in perfect condition would it not be a crack pipe.
As someone who lives with a 2 door gti and uses it for alot of things, trust me, I never want a two door car again.
Which is why I’m insisting for some non-luxury car maker to make a RWD, manual sport sedan. Its great that the corolla will have one, but I’m utterly confounded why no automaker has thought of doing a cheap, practical, rwd car too.
Um, 4 doors, better reliability, better equipped, engineered by the old boss of the M Division...
AWD is nice to have not only for the snow but in all conditions in a big, understeering car like this.
