The joint repairs normally don’t happen until many years down the road 10+, or sometimes not at all. And if those are done correctly, and then they grind the surface, you would never know they did them. Again it’s all dependent on the specs and what the state buys in the contract.

If you plan ahead you can get the good quality wipers from rockauto for less than $10 a blade, and the same ones from the store shelves for half price, you just need to purchase a few sets at a time to offset the shipping charges.
