I've actually seen Cats and couldn't name a song other than "Memory" so the idea that it's made up on the spot with whoever works their way onstage seems weirdly plausible.

I am guessing the “Cats” musical numbers from this episode are NOT the play’s actual songs. But I can’t quite be sure

Maybe don't comment on shows you don't like. This Is Us isn't my cup of tea, but I don't go trashing it in the comments section just because.

They rip apart the US and use tons of stereotypes about Americans too. I don’t know Australia first hand, but their use of similar absurd stereotypes didn’t really bother me. The US themed restaurant was basically USA land of trashy over eating and celebrity worship and I was comfortable with it.

Eleanor I think is very acutely aware of her sexual orientation. She likes hot people in general.

Are you *still* doing this? Have you considered that just because you don’t like something, other people are still allowed to like it?

I love this show & sincerely think it is one of the most original and brilliant shows of all time.

I was really curious as to why Hitchcock was standing there watching Rosa hanging upside-down, although I do like Boyle’s decision-making methodology: “We just wait until the universe decides for you, then you never make a bad decision!”

There's a difference between breaking them up because you don't like the new friend and doing it because they're going to make your friend commit a crime.

The fuck is wrong with you.

The “hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hood winked, lead astray” tweet makes me miss the Denzel Washington is the Greatest Actor of All Time Period podcast, with its incredibly confusing ratings system based on the bit in Malcolm X that Ja Rule is paraphrasing.

I liked this episode a lot! I’m still not sure about how I feel about Mel turning away from the Elders so fast and being all in on the Sarcana (sp?).

Yooooooo, are you me?????

Craig Parker (fucking Glaber) is having so much campy evil fun.

If anything that felt like too few DEO agents who were in on Supergirl’s secret, but this is not a show that’s tremendously concerned with consistency from season to season — that’s what network changes and showrunner switches will get you.

I want to, but I just don’t want to be bothered.

And also: I’m still With Her.

The reason it sort of worked for me is that there have been moments of Holt’s single-minded competitiveness (Halloweens, Kwazy Kupcakes, his gambling addiction, being OK with the drunk singing with them at Christmas...)

I loved everything about The Beaver Trap, from its clear sketchiness, to the fact that it’s where Hitchcock lives while he’s being divorced, to Jake and Charles having to yell out that they respect women while driving it.

No. Don’t chuckle. A frown is a more appropriate response.
