It’s important we not let Trump supporters forget about it after the fact. This isn’t some harmless oddity like, I don’t know, liking Cop Rock in the 90s. This is world ruining business, and they need to be reminded, as much as necessary, of just how bad their judgment was. They need to never trust themselves again.

The fact that the law exists is bad enough, but I can’t wrap my head around the idea of a mother wanting her teenage daughter to be arrested and face jail time for this.

One might argue that multiplayer asymmetric survival horror games...

Crazy me...I thought the important thing was for accusers to be able to identify their rapists!

Think they found them in the junk mail box?

One day we’ll look back on this election and realize that it was exactly as awful as we remember it.

I wouldn’t wish a dead dog on my worst enemy, and that includes Mike Pence. I’m glad his furbabybeagle had a long life and, unlike American women, was probably treated very respectfully by Pence.

Nah, my personal opinion is that I think college sports is a bad thing, comprehensively. Not “college students participating in organized athletic competition,” but the institutionalization of it. If Ohio State admitted that they run a minor league football team, that would be a lot better, but it would be even better

As I’ve said before, UNC is a real fucking school. It’s got a great academic reputation. The idea that it’s reasonable for them to undermine their principles in that sphere and to completely trash the credibility of one department (in a field that has had to fight pretty hard against skepticism to try and gain

Honestly, this is pathetic. What institution is dumb enough to come up with the argument of “we give out bullshit courses to all of our students, not just athletes” and expects leniency? They are basically saying that they’d rather have terrible academic consequences as long as you don’t strip Roy Williams of all of

As someone that is a senior manager for a foodservice contractor, what usually happens in campus environments (almost always union labor), about half of the employees will be on TUC, or Temporary Unit Closure over the summer months, so they can claim unemployment or work other positions. As most positions also have

I have an undergraduate degree in economics, and I stand by saying that running food services for Harvard (or any university) is a large operation, which can not solely be handled by an interchangeable group of ‘unskilled labor’. This is not a church soup kitchen.

I don’t either, and I am not opposed to the strike. It’s their right to do so.

Hey Anna! Remember this? Looks like YOU’RE the idiot now! LOL

Is there ever a good time for sexual assault in America anywhere?

I need help reconciling something here. This doesn’t have to do with the actual case itself, just more about some of the general opinions I’ve seen in many of the comments that have to do with the idea of slut shaming.

UCL Group Stage:

Doe argued that the texts she sent to Rose that night were out of character for her and therefore suggest that she was drunk “out of her mind” and unable to consent. It’s fair game for Doe’s attorneys to seek to rebut that by pointing to other text messages where she says similar things.

Right, but losing to an accuser of sexual assault in a civil trial makes you “guilty” in the court of public opinion, no? I should have been more clear.

Ya, fuck that whole innocent until proven guilty thing, ammirite?
