It's actually quite good. It may not be your bag. But if you have any interest in world history and how things might have played out differently based on the smallest of variables, this show is great at painting in the implications had the Allies lost.

Everybody Loves Einstein?

I haven't read the novel. But was there information showing a future alternate reality of this alternate reality. That is, showing the aftermath of a nuclear war between the Greater Third Reich and the Japanese Pacific States (showing the Nazis winning)?

I find it cool that the fusion bomb the Nazis have developed is called the Heisenberg Device. It's clearly a far more destructive device than a fission bomb (or atomic bomb) that the Nazis ostensibly dropped on Washing DC, clinching the war. Now they want to use this new technology against the Pacific Japanese States

Note to Nazis:

I wonder if Juliana and Trudy's mother is "sensing" Trudy is still alive because she feels her presence from the alternate universe shown in the films.

The mass killings and graves sure do bring the Holocaust home. Very creepy and unsettling. I'd almost say this series is required viewing after this episode.

Such is the Nazi Regime. Even Hitler cried.

Nvmd. Comment meant for Ep. 7.

I'm a hero!

In the pilot episode, the rebel gave Joe some uppers to drive straight through the night. That's about 1,700 miles. You could make that trip, without stopping, in just over 24 hrs.

I don't know if it means anything relative to "The Man in the High Castle" and this alternative history we're being told*, but I did find it interesting that one of the first thermonuclear (or H-bomb—as opposed to the lesser A-bomb) tests was called Operation Castle (circa ~1953).

Totally cool! Though, I am a layman, and my insights are subect to such; though I'm highly interested in such things, and the microfilm seemed immediately to indicate a superior (over the atom bomb) thermonuclear bomb (as it wasn't developed until the 1950s, and is an increase of magnitude measured in megatons over

Anonymity?

I think the writers assumed, in this internet-age, that some viewers would pick up on the diagrams and terminology and make the connection. That said, I'm only a laymen with a strong interest in this sort of stuff, so it caught my eye immediately.

I paused on the microfiche the Nazi Embassy dude was screening before he scrolled it up in the capsule and envelope. A lot of the physics symbols seemed to be a formula for constructing a hydrogen bomb (a fusion bomb [aka, H-bomb or thermonuclear bomb] as opposed to the lesser atomic bomb like the two *actually* used

I sincerely doubt the actual color of their skin/pigmentation comes into play when it comes to hate and bigotry. Any reason to discriminate, it seems the Nazis (et al) took it. So, going off his other superficial physical attributes, his culture, who his parents are and racial/ethnical heritage and upbringing, he's

Ronnie Dobbs was brought back in a later season by the FUZZ camera man to record some studio music. But the above mentioned stuff is about as call-back as it gets.

Slavery?

Right. However, I don't believe she physically woke up. I think she was communicating to him through whatever divine thing is at work in this reality. To him, it appeared she was animated and lucid again (like in his vision after he was mugged), but he was objectively having sex with her catatonic body. Yet she
