If I do P. Terrys (San Antonian here) it is for their shakes. I like Whataburgers shakes and P. Terrys but there is something about P. Terrys shakes that I prefer over Whataburgers.  Burger are about equalish (when considering price to...well performance) and Whataburger wins on fries.

In Texas we do our burgers with Mustard, no ketchup.  Just remember with Whataburger, you can customize it extensively.  Prefer grilled onions to raw, maybe some jalapenos (grilled or raw), both are free changes.
