The Orville has a species that’s all male. There’s a great episode where one of the crew has a female baby and the sort of social upheaval that causes.  Worth a watch.

Laurie Strode is still kicking Michael’s ass 45 years later! If that’s not final I don’t know what is.

AND, they could schedule these sausage-links-of-cars so that you would know when they are arriving at a particular station in order to plan your use of them as efficiently as possible.

Strange to say, I actually like these as a slideshow. I don’t like having to scroll through every single story on the same page

What if you could link several together and only need one driver?

What advantages does this present over a tram system in the tunnels?

And maybe put those cars on rails.

If they could make the cars large enough to handle a couple dozen people at a time and label them as to which station they are going to, they might really be onto something.

You still need ventilation and means of escape in the event of a breakdown of all-too-possible EV catching fire, which would probably be more hazardous than an ICE car catching fire.

The only thing I can think of as being a potential for the future is that you can go with underground roads when we have EVs, because you aren’t killing everyone with exhaust fumes

An underground battery fire should be interesting [when it happens, which it will].

A few head scratchers here:

Women aren’t asked about height with as much weight, but they are asked about hair, hair color, Botox, fillers, weight, plastic surgery, bust size, age and all sorts of invasive things on a regular basis.

The crazy thing is that I am sure he would infinitely prefer to defend his height (to quote George Costanza, “It is not a lie if you believe it is true”) than field questions like “your brand of fascism is immensely unpopular with other fascists across the US. Is it more of an indictment on you that other Nazis find

There is something so pathetic about someone who has to constantly tell you how much of a manly man he is...

Any man claiming to be 5'11" is at most 5'9". Men who are between 5'10" and 5'11" all claim 6'.

The source article noted that her health condition didn’t prevent her from drinking any caffeine, just that too much would/could be dangerous.

The added layer of problematic is that it’s not a specific mix in the stores, employees are combining the ingredients themselves to max batches which means the amount of caffeine actually in the drink can vary WILDLY depending on who prepares it.

The lawsuit (as noted in the linked article) makes it clear that it wasn’t that she couldn’t have any caffeine, and that description provides nothing to advise a reasonable consumer that it contained at least as much caffeine as black coffee.
