I have never attended yoga with blankets. 

I mean, it’s called corpse pose for a reason...but even so, any reasonable person seeing a bunch of people in a cafe like this should probably apply the whole " what's more likely to be true" logic and hopefully come to the conclusion that a group relaxation class is more plausible than mass suicide. 

The way he started firing and started running backward while firing shows he was scared as shit. Which is why he shouldn’t have a gun or badge.

Imagine if, at your place of work, a customer broke something. Then you pull out a gun and immediately shoot them several times and lie about the customer lunging at you with a knife.

That was my first thought, too. The fact that the cops blatantly lied about this shooting is somehow a footnote in many of these conversations.

Even if he had a knife, I would think it would be difficult to legitimately fear for your life given the whole car window being in the way and all.

The degree to which society has normalized the “well, the cops obviously lied about the shooting, but it’s not that big a deal, let’s focus on what happened here” attitude is really amazing.

Can’t really see the guys other hand but it doesn’t look like he even moved before the cop started shooting.

yeah that’s more Conan’s schtick, if you replaced it with any other celebrity he wouldn’t change the demeanor or delivery regardless of what they did.
Now we really should just kind of remember Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher asking for more lenient sentencing but they were probably just trying to help their friend...
