I quite like the movie, but I agree it isnt really scary. Its more disturbing and gross and tense. I quite like the film and think its a lot more than just a woman running around screaming, but yeah not so scary really.

“This isn’t the first time that Kazran has run into trouble with the law, either. Back in 2010, the Federal Election Commission filed a complaint against him alleging that he illegally reimbursed employees of his Florida dealership for close to $70,000 in political donations.”

I was thinking that and possibly also if you can’t block ads on device (ad block plus on desktop/browser) then it would mean he could theoretically spin it as a win for shitty ads.

Put it this way. Imagine if someone decides they want to harass you – maybe you had an argument with them on Twitter, maybe it’s someone who knows you in real life and dislikes you, maybe it’s just a random stranger who just wants to fuck with somebody.

I think you are not quite understanding the difference between blocking and muting. Blocking removes the ability of one user to view or interact with another completely. Musk attempting to split the baby and allow users to block another user’s DMs will not satisfy Apple or Google, so Musk runs the very real risk of

I’m sure that’s a big part of it, but considering how many users mass blocked thousands of blue checks when they started appearing at the top of posts, I’m sure blocking has had a diminishing effect on engagement for those users. And that in turn affects the subscriber bonuses he’s paying to a bunch of white wing

I bet he just saw the data that showed just how many people have him blocked and it hurt his little man baby feelings. He really is a pathetic human being.

That one chase that lasts like ten minutes while really annoying music/noise grinds in the background was pretty annoying.

The problem, and I know this may sound like sacrilege to horror hounds, is that Leatherface is not all that interesting of a killer.  TCM was always more about the whole crazy family and not just him.

The original movie wasn’t really scary either. It’s pretty much just 83 minutes of a woman running around the countryside screaming.

That “boosts American crop value by $15 billion every year” line is misleading. Most of US crop value is corn, soybeans, barley and oats, all of them wind-pollinated. The presence or absence of honeybees does not affect them at all. This additional $15 billion is all fruits and vegetables. Without honeybees we would

Her father, Mark Shry, testified at the hearing that Shry is a “nonviolent alcoholic” who “sits on her couch daily watching the news while drinking too many beers.” He added that she “becomes agitated by the news and starts calling people and threatening them.”

The judge said Shry had been criminally charged four times in the past year for “similar conduct” and was convicted twice.

“We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always,” Asghari continued, before adding a bizarrely glib, “shit happens.” The statement then concluded with a plea for “everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

The GOP is thinking of the children in more ways than just that.

If they charged larceny, it may not even have been a gun owned or licensed to anyone in that house. If he stole it from someone else, took it home, and ended up shooting that kid, that would match the charges.

I was going to ask why the babysitter was not under arrest when I noticed the boy’s charges included “larceny of a firearm.” (Speed reading isn’t always wise.) Unless they truly intend to charge an 11-year-old for stealing his parent’s gun, I suspect that the focus on gun storage may not be relevant to this particular

Torn here. While I don’t think it’s very prudent career-wise for her to shit talk her own fans constantly, I also think the weird parasocial relationships fans form with the objects of their fandom are fucking weird. Why should she “love” her fans? She’s right, she doesn’t even know them.

That would make sense....ADDING caffeine is adding a drug, but using coffee or tea as an ingredient is different enough I guess....and lets face it these Dunking boozy drinks are not meant foe the Four Loko crowd and are unlikely to be pounded down in the same way.....this is a middle-aged drink hahaha

It is not illegal to sell a caffeinated alcoholic beverage nor to manufacture one BUT in the last 15 ish years the FDA did come down and sent warning letters to the makers of drinks like Four Loko for being caffeinated alcoholic beverages. I could not imagine that Dunkin’ did not do their due diligence and go through
