Bleh- so it’s even more worthless. An original Matisse can be sold for an equivalent amount of euros, yen, or American dollars. If the yen or American dollar goes bust you can still make a good profit if you sell it somewhere else so the value doesn’t plummet.

Yeah- and the weird thing is that you can’t display it without it being copied. There’s no real quality or historical value behind having the original the way there is with a painting.
