They should have Obama come back just for those.

There was a guy wearing one of those little cross necklace things. I thought only vampires still wore those. Is a vampire or some kind of prince? I also appreciate that the woman in the low cut red dress managed to be seated boob-level with the podium.

It actually would be cool to see him doing something with the Sand People. In the old EU they fleshed out their culture a bit. They seem like an interesting aspect of Tatooine to look into more.

It's a little sentimental, but only to the extent that poor David deserves. The ending is improved if you know that the "aliens" are supposed to be super-advanced machines- aka AIs have taken over and now the mom basically gets to be the pet.

I look forward to a full two hours of Obi-Wan meditating, sweeping sand from his hermit hut, and periodically holding his head in his hands and weeping.

OK, Yidu's hairstyle is so inaccurate. Tang Dynasty hairstyles for women were super long and crazy as illustrated by this:

No mention of the overt Norse mythology reference of Loki bound in the cave with Sigyn holding a bowl over his head to catch the snake venom slowly dripping on his head (something even worse than water torture)?

Big surprise of the show: it's the same god as Game of Thrones and the Meyerists start burning people.

It looks great, though the actress's voice sounds *really* modern. I think it's a combination of her vocal patterns (a little bit of upspeak that she's holding back) and her voice being higher and flintier than they really liked (the actresses usually went for something either deeper or high and bubbly)

Another thing Greg could spend money on- a child psychologist.

Is that supposed to have spent *all* the money? I mean, unless they were in that suite for a ridiculously long time 10 mil is hard to blow through without buying cars or planes or houses or something. Also, Greg, you should buy a house. You apparently live on the East Coast and we have like actual winter. Buy a house.

Ooooh. That might be a little strange then. They definitely had a complete plot line in the book. Maybe he'll just add extra gods like he added extra serial killers to Hannibal.

It's a mini-series so I think we have a better chance of getting all the way through.

Yeah, they were basically the first slash ship.

Kirk should really be pan, let's be honest.

McCoy was so fricking fantastic on the show.

There are a *lot* of LGBT people who have to be in the closet still or partially in (maybe a few family members know, but their older relatives don't and their employer doesn't). Many states don't protect LGBT people from workplace discrimination. As the GOP ticket demonstrates, there's still lots of homophobia in the

I think having a *married* gay Asian man who isn't like over the top camp is not as emasculating as say the gay Asian general manager that Two Broke Girls had who was pretty asexual. I mean, there *are* gay Asians, but that doesn't mean they necessarily need to be feminized, sexless and harmless.

I think sexuality can shift around like 1 or two points on the Kinsey scale depending on circumstances. So you could theoretically have that OG Sulu was maybe a 4 on the Kinsey scale (bi, leaning straight) and he just never mentioned it and this one is a 6 (bi, leaning gay). But if he's like "women, ew" then that is

And that was *great* for women. Just because it's preferred doesn't mean it's right or that women don't get to complain about it. The cartoon hourglass with a boobs and butt pose is certainly preferred, but it's a harmful stereotype of women that isn't even physically possible without causing some sort of serious harm
