I think part of the reason it seemed half-good was because the actors were acting pretty hard. That takes some chops.

The nesting-egg sequence can be very satisfying in stories. Everything coming to a conclusion one after another like a book flipping shut. I also just thought the original ending was beautiful instead of ending in some hypothetical future. And the same actors in different makeup conceit distracted from the stories…
It makes me feel like a wimp, but in some ways it is very biological. My mind says "it is fine, you are actually safe" but my body processes it as "you are going to die omg let me make your heart beat until it feels like it's going to explode".
Yeah unfortunately any sort of thrill ride tends to make me *super* nauseous and I just stay that way for like an hour after a single ride. Plus it sets off my anxiety and I have my heart racing in a not-fun way at the same time. Basically I am no fun.
I definitely think it could've benefited from being at least a 2 parter.
The tiki concept seemed profitable (it *is* a beach town) and he could've made a lot more with that 100,000. Maybe still some loans but it's better than scraping by.
*Vanessa walks in on her headbanging to a song on her Zune*
I think you could also have a foreign power working with a US party (such as the American fascists or communists) to give them more of a foothold. Trying to hold modern America from over seas would be a logistical nightmare.
[Rick and Carl are surrounded by zombies]
Rick: Well, son, it looks like this it. There's just one thing I want to tell you before we die.
[Carl looks at him attentively]
Rick: (changing accents) I've been British this whole time, old chap.
Carl: Whaaaaaaaaaaa [They are then torn apart by zombies]
The comic seems like it's just sort of been trudging along killing off characters and adding characters for a while. Even Martin has more characters left alive for a finale. I pretty much don't care about most of the characters in the Walking Dead comic now bc I don't know who they are.
I think the best case scenario probably would've been Renly as king with Stannis as Hand. Renly to be the crowd-friendly face and Stannis to be the no-fun guy who reminds them they have to pay their debts and such. And the Starks would've been free to stay up north and fight the White Walkers.
I think they considered Doris Day more of a singer than Marilyn. Marilyn was more of an actress.
The funny thing about where I'm at right now is I'm absolutely terrible at rendering (my details always look a little bit off somehow like I can't keep the angles consistent) but I've been spending a lot of time with anatomy books so my structure is getting better.
I don't understand with the Zach Braff one. They otherwise did ok. Why didn't they try to fix the eyes?!
See, I guessed that she could be Rose pretty early on and that was part of it.
Especially since Jane and Xo already went through unplanned pregnancies. It would be nice to show that abortion is actually an option.
They showed Anezka dying her hair brown in the scene that was still tricking us into thinking it was Petra running away.
I miss Juicy. She was *not* a crimelord. I really hope they have Luisa be the one who stops Rose at this point. Maybe to save Rafael or something. That way she can finally let her go.
I might've argued on how to separate "Joan Crawford the actress" from "Joan Crawford the abusive mother". Unfortunately, there are lots of actors with shady personal lives.
My dad asked that too.
