There's always the possibility they are doing it with Graham instead of Starling. They used that "does he hunger for you daily and gain nourishment at the very sight of you" line but about him.

Exactly. Fuller's version of the red dragon storyline is different (D abducts Chilton instead of Lounds because of Lounds's gender swap, he apparently gets set off by Reba visiting his house instead of seeing another man) but has seemed really good to me so far.
She probably got something like "I was hunting down this serial killer and he tried to kill me a couple times" not "I pretended to be a serial killer and beat a man to death with my bare hands and elaborately displayed his body, then sailed across the ocean to hunt him down, got another guy killed and elaborately…
Well, I don't think Will appreciated being "supported" back into the game so much in this version.
His twitter is the perfect sidedish to the show.
When they didn't show the passed out dogs, I pictured a valley filled with dogs.
With the same amount of weird unspoken homoeroticism.
I seriously have questions about that meat. What lucky corpse got to be eaten? I feel like Lecter could taste gender and recentness of demise
Seriously, he literally has a perfect jawline. I thought Dolarhyde's *girlfriend* was supposed to be the blind one.
It makes it even weirder that they call him "Dad" when Wally's dad can't have died *that* long ago from cancer.
Yup, the whole thing about ignoring book canon makes me assume that most of what we know won't apply. At least no Yuzon Vong. They might've been interesting in theory, but they weren't very star warsy and their plots got needlessly messy.
*Mads would still be a fantastic Thrawn though.
Personally, these early cast announcements don't do much besides make me happy that that actor got work. As the prequels showed us, quality actors (Neeson, McGregor, Jackson, etc) don't guarantee a good film.
I know. Though sadly I am not sure if that survived the book canon ignoring. He would fantastic as Thrawn though.
Impressive.
Yeah, some of her 'obnoxiousness' was bizarre familiarity which makes sense now and other parts make sense if we assume she's from the same fucked up family as Elliot.
They just did the "fractured mirror reflection symbolizes fracturing of the mind" thing with Will Graham so I thought of that.
Well, if Slater is his dad that means he could come out looking a lot like Mom and she could look like her dad and the resemblance would be less obvious.
I think she wore more makeup before?
Elliot is married to Wellick and pregnant.
Everyone was just like "well, Darlene is weird/pointless" "she's so rude wanting to stay over at his place and acting so familiar"
