Just to clarify, does that mean we shouldn’t allow pretty much all car shows, or just the ones you don’t like?

If the city really wanted them gone they would install speed bumps (the natural enemy of the stance scene) but they don’t. They want the ticket money and these stance folks seem more than willing to pony up so life goes on.
If you hit the rock, you’re already driving over a brightly painted curb and there is no hope for you.
I wonder if some of those drivers were stoned.
Buying a $50k German car that’s been sitting neglected for over a year? I’ll pass.
So looking at this from a different point of view someday the “American Dream” will be to Own Your Own Car? Maybe there will even be an “HOA” that will tell you where you can drive and when you can go certain places? You will be monitored at all times and fined for eating in the vehicle... Remember, it’s not really…
Nice catch. Either there are shenanigans about (though the plates match up), or somebody went through a lot of work to get rid of that two-tone atrocity.
There are many reasons why cutting the top half off of a unibody Jeep Liberty, and bolting a new body onto the…
... annnnnd swallowed by a sinkhole.
Why didn’t he just drive it another two weeks and donate it with 1,000,000 miles
The self-driving program didn’t account for the vehicle in front unexpectedly backing up. We had about 20 feet of empty street behind us (I looked) and most human drivers would have thrown the car into reverse and used some of that space to get away from the truck. Or at least leaned on the horn and made our presence…
I’m getting mixed messages here. You start with “it’s your fault”, and then, although it was clearly not your intent, follow up with the implication that the shuttle can be “partly to blame” for not avoiding the truck that backed into it.
I had an ex who told me a story about backing out of her garage, and into her ex’s *parked* car. She told me that it was his fault for parking there.
I’m shocked they haven’t programmed a vehicle like this to avoid contact. Avoidable contact is inherently the shared responsibility of the person/thing who sits there like a total dipshit and does nothing. Not so much as a horn honk? They should take these things off the street until they can include what should be a…
Randy Pobst needs to be the new “American”.
...does that mean he’s not coming on then?
On the other, I wasn’t thrilled with how Skinner’s character was portrayed. His hatred of import cars and undying love for fat-displacement V8s felt very heavy-handed and stereotypical. Perhaps this was funny for a non-American audience, but for me it felt tired and stale. Like, “Oh, look, here’s a twangy American…
I keep hearing about how only a small percentage of cops are problems, and that on the whole, they’re no worse than the general population. This is bullshit.
I think that’s the point. If the driver had been black, there’s a good chance this would have ended much worse than it did.
