Remember, we're talking a DECADE from now. A decade ago, the majority of folks were still on dial-up. The Dreamcast was still being supported, and the idea of Sonic and Mario ever being in a game together was still a hilarious impossibility. Sony had the console lead by a thousand miles. Smartphones were unfathomable.

No thanks, I prefer my South Park games featuring Turkeys as the primary antagonists.

kathartik has it mostly right. Tuesday isn't necessarily the weakest day, but Tues-Weds-Thurs as a trilogy are the low point of the retail week. So, put it out on Tuesday to maximize what traffic you can get.

Maybe it's the many years of "burn, baby, burn" jokes made by RPG nerds whenever a Wizard or Dragon or whatever uses fire, but yes. It's pretty much the fire-related "joke" equivalent of using James Browns' I Feel Good whenever someone dances stupid in a movie. Or uses a laxative.

Exactly, don't want to risk a future takedown request from Fox.

(i think that was a joke)

BULLSHOTS A PLENTY

Well, I can't speak for your ears, but they look pretty silly on him.

What about the Lego Harry Potters? We must have your review!

PSSSSSST- the bit.trip thing was a joke.

It had something to do with "and it might even be safe to say that Melty Blood hitting it big and amassing a huge fanbase [might be safe to say created the current fighting game craze]." What I was trying to say is that is a pretty crazy thing to say if you live in anything like reality. SFIV is obviously the reason

Isn't the Steampunk thing kinda... running out... of

I hate to break it to you, but only the tiniest sliver of the market gives a crap about Melty Blood. At least, in America. I'm sure in Japan it's at least three slivers. Probably nestled closely to Touhou's tiny but obnoxiously vocal and dedicated fanbase.

I'd also love to hear an answer to this question. I can't think of the last time I even caught wind of anything like Bebop. Especially not something that isn't 8 million episodes long and takes watching roughly a quarter of them to "get into."

Care to explain that concept to Greece?

Speaking as a completely disinterested party in the product at hand, but someone who is pretty deeply in the PR industry... this wasn't a stunt. But if it was, the person who was able to so consistently have the same typing pacing and style from email to email and identity to identity would be a freaking genius.

Can I give you another reply in this comment chain? Seems like you're about to break a record.

Maybe I'm somehow selectively missing it in every comment thread about this game so far, but am I the only one who remembers Tony Hawk 2X for Xbox? Wasn't that pretty much what this is supposed to be, except with more features and content? But it had no integrated online play, I suppose. Teardrop.

MK Advance is waaaaaaaaaay better than it gets credit for being. Have you actually really played it, or are you just an opinion parrot? And I don't just mean "played for 5 minutes on an emulator."

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but our secret is pretty much out and relatively well known now.
