probably the most underrated game of 2014. I'm glad I got it on Steam during the sale. But 40gb download time..around 1 day and 20 hours download. Worth the wait.

it won GOTY because it's the "best" game of the "year" irregardless of how long has it been out in the market. Among all the other games that came out this year, this one tops all of them. Also, you can't say that GTAV wins because it's a remaster. In other words, it DIDN'T came out as a NEW GAME this year.

I won't be surprised if Assassin's Creed: Rogue gets a YES. Even if it's last gen, I think it has a better storyline that Unity. Plus, why remove the ships from IV? I mean, it was so great being a pirate and having your own ship.

wasn't really sold to this. Loved Borderlands because it was something new. Enjoyed 2 but got bored quickly because it was all the same, really. This one, no thanks. I bet they'll release a compiled Borderlands game for PS4, so I'm gonna wait for that

It's like Monster Hunter when it was first released. Reviews were at a 7 or 7.5 rating yet people were playing it and loved it.

my main concern for the game is not the gameplay, graphics, or any of that stuff, but the writing. The last ff i played was FFX, which had sorta great writing but not like FFVI or FFVII. Hell, i loved the gameplay of FFXIII, but the script left a whole in me that cannot be filled thus made me leave the game…

All of my friends who played the game had the same views. The story was subpar, the rpg elements are not solid, yet they can't stop playing the game! I know I can't! It's just so much fun.
