i used to think like that until i actually made an effort to open my mind (read books,articles and talked to trans women jezzies).

not really. it’s bad enough when i hear other black people centering black men and boys as the victims of racism but then to see that same thing from non-black people...

well,i’m a black queer woman. what does this rich white male coming out do for me? no one’s going to think about anyone but other white queer people. hell,the lgbt community (as opposed to the qtpoc community) already thinks that way—what can i expect from straight people?
