When they opened the new facility the lines were absolutely brutal. They’ve calmed down a bit, but peak time you could still be waiting for 1.5 to 2 hours. It’s good beer, no doubt. I never turn a can down. It’s hard to get excited to drive out there when I’ve got Fox Farm and Fat Orange Cat near me.

I’m a Modern Pizza fan m’self, but if forced to pick between Pepe’s and Sallys, I’m going with good ol’ Frank Pepe.

That’s been a big issue here in New England. A few breweries have had way too many can grenades as a result of adding purees and other yeast consumables late in the process. There’s been stories of cans exploding on the way home from breweries, and package store shelfies popping because they aren’t kept cold.

I’m basically sticking around for you, Kate Bernot, and the Jalopnik crew. If you all end up somewhere else eventually, I want the road for you to be easier if you can say “look at my numbers, my articles got people to read them” to potential employers.

Time has made me forget how awful the interiors of these cars were. Wow.

Sometimes I try to explain square one to people and I sound like a crazy person. They insist I am making this mythical show up.

That’s better than a significant percentage of the replicas I have seen. Not my cup of tea, but with the exception of the headlights, this is pretty tidy and the blown 3800 engine isn’t a bad choice.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea that was a regular thing in Quebec!

Oh hell. The wizard of oz has been revealed!

3. Getting hit by a bus

I forget where I heard it, but someone told me once that humans eat the dumb animals but not the smart ones. Logic checks out on the chickens and cows.

Several of my friends have partaken while in Europe, and they too can confirm this. I’d be curious to try it.

Internet high five to all the writers who resigned. My sister is a journalist as well, and integrity is the lifeblood of the profession. When the chips were down, the writers put their money where their mouth was. It made me respect a lot of those folks a heck of a lot more than I already did.

Counterpoint: I would totally eat horse. I don’t think they fall under “cute” so much as “terrifyingly large animal with weird skinny legs that produces its own weight in poop per day.” Horses are kinda assholes too. If the McHorse with cheese existed, I’d order one today.

Have her stop by Hartford CT. It’s spooky here. It’s all insurance companies. That’s scary enough. Also I want to play with a hellcat.

I had a sinking feeling this Thursday’s Thursday Afternoon NFL Dick Joke Jamboroo wasn’t going to take place. Now I have confirmation of that. Comment sections gone, resignations en masse.

That poor roadmaster :(

I want to believe. I really do... But deep down inside I have a bad feeling it’ll just be another special edition of the same thing.

Keep fighting the good fight guys. If I wanted ESPN-like articles, I’d go there.
