I’m spoiled by the Mazda infotainment commander knob. Every time I drive another car without it, I’m pissed off if I have to reach up to the center stack or somewhere on the dash in order to do anything. The placement of it is dead on perfect. I’ve honestly never used the touch screen capabilities in mine.

Ah yes. The reverse Hercules.

Yeah there were a few that were bought in the liquidation auction and somehow made road legal in Europe. None ever made it to a dealership though :(

Surtees would have tried it on a milk carton with no seatbelts. That guy was an absolute LEGEND in a time where racing was extremely dangerous, and there were significant non zero odds you wouldn’t make it through a full season.

I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!

*pours one out*

Every time I see one of these, it makes me sad. This generation of 9-5 had the potential to produce the best looking sportcombi in Saab history. A few existed, but they never made it into private hands until the bankruptcy auction.

Mid 30's here. Bunny Ears Lifer. Sometimes simpler is better.

We’re getting into “nicest one left” territory with this SVO. I haven’t seen many that have been preserved this well. It’s a high price, but ultimately that may be what they are worth. Fox bodies are on the upswing price wise. NP

BaT inflation will push that near 20. Yet another reason I stopped paying attention to that site.

A ton of people bought them and expected them to be straight line rockets like mustangs, and subsequently sold them and badmouthed them. They expected a throttle masher and they got a momentum car.

Sure did. It also gave the Hondas a run for their money in PWC last year. They were super competitive.

I was really concerned about IMSA’s adoption of TCR with last year’s field. It was essentially spec audi with one (sometimes two) rogue VW’s. This year, I’m really looking forward to this class. There are a ton of new teams and the field is starting to take shape. The Michelin (RIP Continental) challenge consistently

Senor Dos!

I’m gonna get destroyed for this one, but a TRD Sienna would be kind of awesome. And yes I know TRD built a one off crazy van.

Torq thrust wheels make a lot of things better.

Once in a while I will be sitting in traffic on the bridge just outside of my office, and an IS-F will buzz by in the HOV lane. It makes my morning every single time. The Lexus 5 liter v8 is a severely underappreciated engine.

Honey bunches of crack might be a more popular cereal than either of us have imagined.

It’s a cool car that has been treated well, but I don’t think we’ve hit 15k for malaise era caddies just yet.
