The government is influenced by facebook. The entire “THE RUSSIANS STOLE THE ELECTION” conspiracy theory was based on a few hundred facebook ads being bought by the russian government. Meanwhile in the 2020 election basically every media company, social and otherwise is basically an arm of the biden campaign, outright…

According to white people, having their Twitter account and Facebook pages shut down is tantamount to big government censoring conservative voices just because it might lead to election interference or mob violence.

It would really make more sense just to fold it into virginia.  The whole point of DC not being a state is so that no state can claim to be the capital of the US.   If we’re throwing that away we might as well give it to virginia instead of having this weird Vatican city city-state thing going on.

I don’t know about the democrats thing, though. A friend who has family that lives there told me it’s more conservative than you might think. It could serve to balance out the tipping of power towards the democrats that adding DC would absolutely achieve.
