Oh totally. Usually my go-to is tampon plus thin panty liner, but I can’t say I like it. It’s just the combo that allows for the most time in between stressed out bathroom trips and comfort level. It’s far from ideal, but right now, it’s the best way.

I would love to not get down with pads, but I’m so heavy my first 2 days I have to wear a tampon and a pad. There’s no way I could just wear a tampon Or just a pad on my 20 block walk to work and expect dry underwear.

But they say each pair holds 2-3 tampons worth, so for some of us, that’s definitely changing every few hours. I change my tampon every 90 minutes or so on heavy days. And I wear a pad or pantyliner too as a back-up. Oh god, I’m so disgusting.

I have dysmenhorrhea and use tampons almost exclusively. I really hate pads. Is the cramps triggering thing ‘cause they bump up against your cervix or something? Gotta ask the gyno about that at my next checkup.
