You mean like when someone watches a feature length documentary on the making of The Island of Dr. Moreau or Troll 2?

Yo, no disrespect but I don't respect you.
I LOVE the series Ex Machina, but it occasionally had this issue too. The artist photographed people posing, acting out the panels, then would create drawings from the photos with occasionally weird results. The artwork was generally fantastic, but once every 3 or 4 issues there would be a page with very uncanny…
Damaged
Pretty sure this is going to be a mash-up of Hal Hartley's films The Book of Life and Henry Foole.
I believe the consensus is Jake Johnson is slightly better looking.
Eh, due to strong recommendations from friends, I've watched the entire first 2 seasons. Maybe I'm just a bitter old crank, but to me it's mostly "HEY KIDS ISN'T THIS SHOW CRAZY WITH THE CANDY PEOPLE AND WEATHER PEOPLE AND THEIR INCONGRUOUS VOICES AND A CRAZY SHAPE SHIFTING DOG CREATURE ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN HAVE…
I feel like this episode was also kind of parodying the type of "random humor" that's become so popular in recent years, especially on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim. I'm thinking of stuff like Adventure Time or China, IL.

C'mon, EETSA GOODA SHOW!
But on the other hand, it legitimized the concept of the beta in the eyes of the very people it's satirizing, due to their utter inability to grasp satire.
Harmon's obviously consumed plenty of it, and he's not wasting one frame of this opportunity to turn it into cutting edge comedy.
Dang, pretty much spot-on.
I'm assuming he's talking about sycophantic industry people, not, you know, "real" people.
Also aggressively neurotic and taciturn (Night Moves).
The Road Warrior isn't totally lacking in ass-kicking women either.
I can think of a few places I'd go with her…
