Not saying this applies to you, but I think a lot of people who say her act is all built on vulgarity have a double standard because she's a woman. She's not any more raunchy or vulgar than, say, Jim Norton, or even Louis CK at times and I never see people making this complaint about them. People see a raunchy male

Yeah, but there's also the thing where everyone knew and respected his dad. And obviously his mission to clean up the corrupt police department.

I see the resemblance, but on this show, wouldn't Gordon = Exley, Bullock = Bud? Seems like that's how the relationship is modeled.

"I guess no one else in Gotham is important."

It will be the worst episode of television this season.

A "C" is just about right. It has potential, the cast is mostly great, but the dialogue was mostly terrible, the plotting poor (see Michael Thompson's comment up higher) and the constant winking at the audience, MY PENGUIN, was shamefully awful.

"Either way she wins."

The more you know!

JET!

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Cinematography was amazing. Very much a deserved Oscar win, in a category that usually goes to flashy epics shot mostly in big outdoor landscapes, or more recently, to epic SFX spectacles.

With Ryan Reynolds? Pass.

Yes, I referred to him making his directorial debut in the 2nd sentence. And yes, didn't see Transcendence, but didn't hear many good things about it, while as a cinematographer, he's won an Oscar and been nominated 3 more times.

Wow, Wally Pfister isn't the DP on Interstellar? I guess it makes sense, since he made his directing debut this year, but he's worked so closely with Chris Nolan for so long I wonder if Interstellar will feel very different.

Seems like skinny little Justin Long is all wrong for this role. Maybe Kevin Smith should have cast himself.

Eh, it's probably better than a feature length parody of Human Centipede has any right to be.

Who could ever tolerate movies from that guy with a Palme d'Or and 2 Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay?

This movie is getting mediocre-to-terrible reviews nearly everywhere. Maybe it's just not that good?

Yes, it's like Larry Sanders taught us: pain equals funny.

Maybe. This is basically a parody of Human Centipede, which will probably be remembered with a little big of fondness, since it was kind of a big cultural thing, big enough to inspire tattoos and jewelery and silly parodies like this.
