A Talking Bear?!?

"most gratitious is still Spielberg, Lucas and Coppola all presenting to Scorsese"

So apparently this pop culture wiki is fulls of lies and misinformation. So disappointing.

What's "bling hatred?"

I love me some Thin Red Line but the result is TOTALLY what you'd expect if someone were like, "Terrence Malick made a movie about Guadalcanal."

"and yet the winner is a crowdpleaser about determination in the face of adversity"

What's annoying is how many years the Best Picture winner is the weakest of the nominees, or weakest except for 1.

It seemed like Gladiator's win was meant to be a kind of lifetime achievement award for Ridley Scott, but then they gave best director to Soderbergh.

"flawed bassist"

That's kind of what I'm thinking. That wiki I linked to says she was in the "scared straight" group last season, which I did not remember, so the plot thickens.

If you aren't enjoying the series, that's cool. But your specific complaints sound more like 1. You don't really enjoy or understand the structure of episodic television and 2. You don't really enjoy fictional narrative in general.

I'm really curious what landed her in jail. Something drug-related seems like the very obvious choice, but maybe it's something crazy.

Some of Larry's story has had interesting repercussions with Piper's story, but the need to give Larry his own ongoing arc has

"Clickhole has mostly been pretty lame"

I couldn't stop laughing hysterically every time they showed them performing. They absolutely nailed that very specific demo.

"Does it bother anyone else that most of the world seems to think Emilia Clarke plays a character named Khaleesi"

Ren-ES-may

I think the point is that America's Funniest Home Videos and any number of reality competition shows (Wipeout, etc) could easily be retitled that without any change to their format.

Is Elsa really the protagonist? It's interesting, Anna and Elsa are kind of dual protagonists, but Anna is more the one who has the proper hero's journey. Elsa spends most of the running time chilling alone in her ice castle.

Yeah, I went to the zoo a few weeks ago and heard a mother calling to her toddler "Renesmee." So very cringe-worthy.
