Donald: this is the deal, take it or leave it!

They can all point the finger at the other guy, say they tried, and keep the legislation that their constituents hate in name but love in practice.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuckk

More of Donald’s signature 4-D chess (i.e. basing his decisions on whatever he saw on cable that morning)

A few pundits had speculated that the divisions within the Republican party would actually flare up if they managed to get a Republican into the White House, and that would be more damaging to them in the long run than if they lost the 2016 election.

This, folks, is the great negotiator, Donald J. Trump, at work. Not hard to see why he’s run so many businesses into the ground....

Never stop reminding Republicans that they had 7 years to come up with a replacement. 7 years.

What’s hilarious about all of this is that if you take him at his word (i.e. that Obamacare is a horrible system that is hurting people), then he’s essentially willing to saddle America with terrible healthcare out of SPITE.

“Us Dems” need to realize that shit takes time.

It’s illegal to act as the agent of a foreign power to influence elections unless you declare yourself to be one. Feds are going to have to decide whether to start popping people under FARA pretty soon.

I understand your cynicism and share it, but how he and his cronies got the nom and the win make Watergate seem like a lark and Nixon look like a relative choirboy. If SCROTUS isn’t eventually impeached for this, I’d be shocked. And planning to move.

It bears noting that Watergate took 2 years to fully play out. This will likely take months if not years.

“Us Dems” need to realize that shit takes time. That every additional thing is a brick in the wall of a case. One of the biggest mistakes I keep seeing made is some of us thinking that there is one thing that takes him down. No, a case of things will take him down.

Time to circle the wagons around the leader of the free world: Angela Merkel

If this investigation doesn’t lead to trump being impeached, the little faith I have in our democracy will be completely dead.

Agreed. I really think your perspective on the realistic nature of this storyline depends where you live, how you grew up, and your socioeconomic status. My husband’s extended family live in the rural South, so for young women who get pregnant by accident, or without being in a relationship, it’s almost a given that

It took 6 seasons... LOL.

There was also that one time Lena had a black boyfriend - but he was a “safe” black character.

I can’t recall any time any other people of color were showcased.

I would normally think it’s unrealistic, until my friends at that exact age who were woefully unprepared for motherhood started to decide to keep the accidental pregnancies. It is kind of crazy how much this mirrors what I have seen.

Well, I mean, the father of her kid is of Muslim Pakistani descent.
