When will we learn??

Don’t hug your cat! Stroke her gently with one finger while you gaze into the far distance.

I know I was looking for something at least relatively cheerful after all the bad news... and this... just...

Yep, headline led me to believe this might end wlll.

I agree with most everything you say here except for the pigs bit. Those pigs are feral and descended from a group that’s been there a long time.

NO I THOUGHT PIG ISLAND WAS A HAPPY PLACE AND I AM RUINED TO HEAR ITS NOT PIG PARADISE.

Why. Why did I click on this story. I have zero control and I need to examine my life and choices.

This is the saddest story.

I need the ACLU, Dems and journalists to get this man impeached YESTERDAY. The fact he’s moving so fast to burn our country to the ground shows that he knows he’s got limited time. SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING.

I don’t think so. They read books, play videogames, and watch cartoons. There is a shitload of dying and coming back to life in those things. I am 100% sure that I would cry watching the movie waaaay more than my friend’s 8-year-old who will probably be seeing it this weekend; I cry reading the book.

Omg. It’s about reincarnation. That is a theme in so many children’s movies. Reincarnation is a beautiful idea and makes death less scary. It’s weird how many people are making comments like yours.

Yeah, its the heart warming tale of a kid and his two dogs that die at the end.

Perhaps not, I’ve never heard of that book before. Is it a book read in school in the US?

Gordon Korman wrote a book called No More Dead Dogs:

So then skip the movie and take them down to the library to check out a copy of “Where The Red Fern Grows.”

I was going to go with my bff and her 8 year old, who absolutely would not have a problem with the movie and wanted to see it. (I won’t go now, as I had to put my dog down yesterday and won’t be able to keep my shit together.) They have had pets her whole life, and some of them have died. She knows that happens. Also,

No way would I take my kids to a movie where you know at the outset that the premise of the fucking movie is dogs dying.

It takes you to the Congressional switchboard. You give whoever answers your zip code and ask for a Senate or House rep and they’ll route you there.

I called my Senators to read them about voting to repeal the ACA.
