Child porn is not illegal because it's morally corrupting. It's illegal because it portrays a crime. Banning media simply because we find it distasteful or immoral is a really bad idea. There are a lot of things in your life that Ted Cruz finds distasteful and immoral and he could be our next president — do you really

Its fake, a fantasy, so what? Don't watch...stop with your PC bull...

I guess I don't really understand how it's "piggybacking" when it is the same issue- but I can appreciate that some people might see it that way, and will not be using the hashtag.

My impression was that the hashtag isn't for educating black people about how nice the cops are to white people, but educating fellow white people on their own hypocrisy. It's a lot harder to say that these murdered black men were thugs and criminals who "got what they deserved" when white people admit to the same

Maybe he meant "understand" in a cosmic sense, as in "we may never understand why bad things happen."

Isn't it pretty easy to understand what he meant? Lots of people hate women, lots of people hate feminists. Lots of people hate Jews, or blacks, or Christians, or whatever else. Not everybody who is hateful goes on a shooting rampage. Why some, not others?

Midwives in the US are very different than the UK. In the US when someone says midwife they often mean a lay midwife, who has no specific medical training or malpractice insurance or oversight. We do have medical midwives (Certified nurse midwives) who are more akin to the UK midwives but often when people in the US

It is saving money but by suggesting to go to a birthing center instead of hospital it is freeing up beds for those who need it. Also maternal mortality rate in the US is a lot higher than UK so i would trust NHS over any American healthcare.

I'd like to point out that, in the UK, midwives are highly regulated, like our doctors, while our midwives aren't regulated at all. You should always have a trained professional with you when you give birth, in case something goes wrong. Always.

Reminder: midwives who assist in home births (on average) in the US have no true medical training and no real licensing procedure. Most "nurse midwives" practice out of birth centers which allow for more options and also allow their liability to not be as great. Most "midwives" have very little training.

I dunno Rob, you say there is bad plotting, but what I'm reading is a whole lot of "I hate Dawn." More generally, "I hate it when people make illogical decisions." Now I'm the first to admit that many shows rely on the idiot ball to move the plot along, but to me, all the actions we saw in the finale are consistent

or perhaps you find it weird that he didn't try to crawl back through the rectory to enter the church as opposed to clawing at the boarded up entrance.

I have to disagree with you on some of this.

A grown woman picking on children is about as classy as going to Buckingham Palace and asking Queen Elizabeth to pull your finger.

So kids telling a woman they will "rape her if they see them" is OK, but that woman messaging those kids' moms isn't?

I must say I'm thankful that folks are finding modern ways to fight injustice.

She's my new internet hero. <3 Now, as gamers we can continue this trend by policing our lobbies and sessions ourselves.

Totally true.

There will be more studies like this about high-powered/promising women, one of which I'm part of, and they'll implicate husbands and the usual suspects in business, though perhaps more forcibly than before.

My husband tried to pull this shit on me after talking a long bullshit 50/50 child/home-work line, and for the

If I could find a man who could stand to sit home with my kids all day without pulling his hair out, that, my friend, would be marrying UP.
