I’m not the least bit surprised that our Sailors and hardware are coming home. Anything else sets one hell of a dangerous precendent for Iran.

I had an idea for a hydraulic cylinder under the car that would reach out forward and latch on to the car ahead and let it haul me down the road. I never could work out what happens in a lane change in fast heavy traffic that didn’t involve me dying.

Same transmission and that along with the elimination of Rally Yellow for 2016 made me buy the gas V6 now instead of the Duramax next year. My 4 mile commute wasn’t going to do the emissions system any favors either, as they are particularly expensive to fix if they get fouled up, and consistent short drives foul them…

But they’re talking about LOWERING the standards. And mixed-gender combat teams have already proven to be significantly less effective than all-male ones. Facts are facts here; either we’re going to lower the standards in order to accommodate women, or we’re going to not have women in combat. It’s really that simple.

I’m gonna keep with my recent comments and say Mercedes C-Class (or maybe E-Class).

The Land Rover Defender. Whatever the new one looks like, if they try to place it upmarket here in the US, I will be pissed. This is the workhorse of the world. I want a basic, bare-bones trim available.

Sadly, the things that are important to being an American are not taught today. No wonder young people today do not have the same sense of patriotism that we had growing up. Those in the military understand it, but for the most part, it is lost on most people today.
