This has been going on for 4-5 years now with these reviews, and in the comments on every single SP episode. It’s maddening, like a an Uncreative C-Student English Major Groundhog Day. I wish I could stop myself from hate-reading them. I completely accept that it’s my own fault at this point.

Boy you’re being generous with the C+. The whole thing fell flat for me. Considering the number of years South Park has been on, can’t expect a “Margaritaville” every time. I think (and I’m pretty sure Trey and Matt have said as much) that the reason they aren’t featuring Trump is because literally every other comedian on TV has their fair share of Trump material. T.J. Miller is a jackass. Fortunately this time next year he’ll be relegated back to sitcom guest spots and so folk will only have to deal with the occasional “What do you mean you don’t know him? He’s a HUGGGE comedian” fan

God forbid a TV show with a mundane setting and realist aesthetic provide a paramour who wasn’t a picture perfect rom-com star and was instead someone with rather human flaws. Not sure what Prince Charming lives up to this author’s standards, good luck finding them.
