I don't think I'm ready to have to deal with a bunch of goons clamoring about how genius this shitheap of a movie will be.

It's a little deeper than that. Read up.

They probably think Cosby should walk out of there a free hotel

They'd probably take it literally

We're truly living in now now

What did you do?
I turned off the wall.
No, you didn't! You turned off the whole movie!
I must have pressed the wrong button.
Well, put it back on!

Prince should be everybody's answer.

Prince should be everybody's answer.

Wow, what a fucking idiot

"but the truth, as most truths are, is more complicated and individual than that. I like lots and lots of new music. Just not this kind. And that's okay. This isn't a revolution. It's just a different sound that doesn't appeal to me. "

If I'm the first person who has mentioned Back from the Dead to you, then I seriously question your knowledge of hip-hop culture.

But the ones kept around in the social consciousness kind of suck nowadays. What rapper from the 90s makes decent music anymore? Nas fell off, Eminem is lame, Snoop is MOR, all of Wu-Tang just makes the exact same album over and over again…

No doubt. I'm saying that hip-hop legends are few and far between, especially ones that still make quality music. A short shelf-life in hip-hop seems to be the norm. Eminem has been crap for awhile and Snoop has a show with Martha Stewart.

How has anyone not heard of Lil Yachty that has a somewhat tenuous grasp on popular culture, especially while commenting on a website with content that's 99% related to popular culture?

…you yell "get off my lawn" at skateboarding kids outside your porch, don't you?

What rapper from the 90s is still relevant today? In fact, what rapper from the 00s is popular today? Eminem? Snoop Dogg? There aren't many legacy acts in hip-hop.

You seem like the same kind of dork who will ridicule someone for not appreciating the subtle musical nuances of Tool's latest album while wearing a G3 tour t-shirt.

There's a whole new world outside that rock you've been living under. Try and peeking out once and awhile.

Everyone saying "first time I've ever heard of this guy" like it's some declaration of your impeccable music taste just sounds like an ignorant goon who actively shuns anything new.

Um Silkk da Shocker was one of the most popular rappers in the late 90s, Ja Rule was popular for like a decade, and Chief Keef definitely has talent…he's just on lean all the time and can't focus enough to make a decent album.
