Also, I think it’s really cool. :D

This may come as a shock, I hope you’re sitting down.
You know.. I would like to try and understand where you are coming from.. why you feel the need to bash on a comment like that and enter into a tirade because someone chose to make a statement against cancer.
I really thought for a moment that i would see a comment section that was just supportive, but even in an article about someones tragic death i still see fighting. The gaming community can be so toxic sometimes.....
People like you can fuck right off. This whole idea that you can’t display frustration and vent emotion at something like cancer is idiotic.
I’m so tired of seeing these comments, like insulting cancer will stop it from killing others. You know maybe that mentality would be better off supporting a cause against cancer rather than feeling the need to curse out a disease.
Yeah, comments about cancer fucking off can fuck right off. You tell him!
Reminded me of this:
How can you be nostalgic about something that you never had and would be playing for the first time in 2017?
This. Who cares?
So the Widowmaker’s aim was so good, she headshotted him out of e-sports entirely.
It still makes them a shitty person. And to me, it’s far enough on the shittiness scale that I don’t care whether saying those words with actual racist intent or in the manner you describe is worse. They’re both significantly bad.
I don’t think so. I’ve been pretty angry in all sorts of situations — even ones in which I get paid (a.k.a, my job) — where I just want to vent to the world. But using the N-word is still not among my repertoire even at my angriest. That might have been why he did it, maybe, but that’s still no excuse.
The leap from “frustrated by another player” to “shouting racial slurs for thirty seconds straight” is one that my head can’t process.
I’ve never ever been mad enough to scream racial slurs. Not once, maybe since I’ve dealt with discrimination and even then I’ve never thought about saying such things to my aggressors. Maybe I was raised better.
A word that only has the power to offend because black people are arrested at absurdly disproportionate rates, being blamed for being shot by officers who should be protecting them, being passed over for jobs they are qualified for solely because they have ‘black-sounding’ names, all acts often accompanied with the…
I admit I sometimes get mad about multiplayer games, like “I’m a big baby” mad. I try not to, but I’m human, and it’s an issue I’m working on. However, I’m never on voice chat, so it doesn’t broadcast to anyone but myself.
A word that only has power to offend because people keep giving it ceremoniously...
His laundry list of excuses for why he repeatedly said the N-word—he was tired, his internet was lagging, the Widowmaker was cheating, he was angry—leads to his point: He is not racist, just upset, and so he said the most offensive thing that came into his mind.
