That's encouraging for me to get back into dancing as a hobby. As the tallest person in the class the teacher would zoom in on me and pick on me more than the others (or maybe that was just in my mind) so I stopped going. So thank you! And I hope your toenail gets better soon!

I'm a 5'11 woman who trips while walking UP a flight of stairs, so I can only dream of being graceful... :) I kinda miss that about living in NYC... all the talented and interesting people I interacted with daily. I'm still in touch with a lot of them on FB, but it's just not the same as being there.

That's amazing! We had to learn it as part of our 6th grade music class. It really is a cute instrument. Do you close your eyes and pretend you're on a Hawaiian beach when you play?

Hello hello. I just want to say that I know exactly what you're going through - as I approached my 30th birthday I felt the same way. :\

And with your real name? Chutzpah! <3

I'm not sure if my comment fits on this thread, but after many years of missing it, have finally decided to pull the trigger and move cross-country back to the Pacific Northwest where I grew up. I'm nervous because I don't have a ton of savings at the moment since I've been paying down a ton of my credit card debt,

You're a ballerina??? That's amazing.

Are you a guy or a gal? Saw some great ones on etsy.com below $60...

Sigh... as a Jewess it happens to me a lot. The men have all been very nice, just not for me. I'm still looking. :/

Wish I could "re-tweet" your post because it's truly uplifting.

I LOL'd at this video the entire time. Some takeaways:

Holy crap, you are LEGENDARY! Why didn't you go on all your trips?

Three comments:

This story made my night, lol! Thank you.

I <3 your screenname!

"Quick, man! Cling tenaciously to my buttocks!"

That's such a sweet story! <3

Virginia, duh! *eyeroll* xoxo

Bahahaha

More details please!!! Was it good???
