The points made in this petition are pretty common in TERF circles. What I love is they get just as pissed at being called what they are as the white supremacists do. But it also boils down to the evangelical right wing and related conservatives as well. Which is an interesting overlap between two groups.

That doesn’t mean shunning people or wanting private support. It means trans people should be at the forefront in the movement when it comes to trans rights. Which is to say a leadership role, to be heard, or something like that. I suck at translating such things.
