Wonder if Lisa knew about this
I’m currently making stew. A big pot of beef stew, a smaller pot of mushroom stew (for the vegan in my life). Deglazed the pots with Guinness beer. It smells sooooo good in here.
My aunt who had Covid (I talked about her last week) is doing really well now. She’s had her customary negative tests and is slowly (slowly!) returning to work. She was so bored last week she said she would never retire.
Re: Murkowski, I got nothing.
Been gloomy weather wise here. Lots of fog, rain and humidity (is this the new fall?). Fortunately school, all things Halloween & Cosmic yoga have kept us sane. We did manage a beach & donuts visit today tho. So that always equals happiness. Trying to hold onto every second of outside. Winter is coming (in more ways…
Hi Jezzies. Checking in from a blustery day in Pa.
Her and Collins pull this crap every time and people still fall for it! Why are we surprised?
My family, not known for our great mental health, finally decided that that best way to ask “how are you?” is to text pics of our pets and let that open dialogue for someone to say “feeling down” or “hey, this non-shitty thing happened to me help me celebrate!” OTOH, “How are you?” feels like it requires an answer-diss…
I grew up in a small town on an Indian reservation. Most houses in this town (old rundown project houses) had creepy histories and stories. Some worse than others. One house stood out in particular.

That’s my house!
Dollars to doughnuts, McConnell threw it in. Basically told Trump to do this or out comes the dirty laundry or something and has been doing nothing else but ramming her through (including admitting he doesn’t give a flying fuck about the stimulus until he gets this bitch sitting in the big chair)
Oh Americans...I didn’t realize that I shouldn’t enjoy Fall or Autumn as it’s known everywhere outside of north America because of basic bitches, PSL or a racist American holiday. The change of seasons is often a blessing. No more oppressive heat, excuse to wear more comfortable clothes, the weather is better, the…
I had a paper route. This was in the mid 1980’s. At the time I was a typical ten year old boy living in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. We lived in a two story house near the end of a cul-de-sac. My mom and dad and me. I’d taken over the paper route from a friend at the beginning of summer, thinking of earning some…
This happened to me about a year ago, in early October, while on a road trip with my mom (another horror story unto itself. She didn’t let me drive the car for our entire 11 day trip. Who does that?). We stayed our second night of the trip, due to my urging, at a very famous haunted hotel in rural Arizona. This is a…

I love this story contest!!! It’s one of the highlights of October for me :) I’m going to give this a shot here. Hopefully I’m not too late. Here we go…
