And here is one that is sadly from this year. Not scary but definitely supernatural...

In high school, I lived in a farm house built in the early 1700s. The farm had been out of use for a long time but the house was original. We had fallen on some tough times financially and living there seemed like a dream come true, even though the place was in pretty rough shape.

Let me preface this by saying that I’m not American. I checked Trump’s Twitter feed yesterday after a long time. I scrolled through pages and pages of unfettered rancour and hate mongering and fetid bullshit. Then I realised that all these tweets were just within 3 hrs. God save us all. 

This might be too far back of a pop culture reference, but I’ve always thought of Pence as akin to the Visitors from the 80s NBC sci-fi miniseries V. It was only two episodes. I wish someone would re-run this! I’ve been half-waiting for him to be caught on camera unhinging his jaw and gulping down a live rat.
