…I don't have any evidence to support this, but I think they wanted Guy Pearce to be the main villain and the studio said, "Guy Pearce can't be The Mandarin!"

I don't mind them setting deadlines, but they really should factor in how much time the creators need to meet those deadlines. It's not unreasonable for some of these shows to be shown a little leeway.

I suspected that you might be doing that, but I wasn't for sure.
For the record, I think it is actually worse to use gay to mean lame than it it to use the other word. Like it or not, the other word could have different meanings in the context of a conversation. Gay always means, "attracted to people of the same sex".

You're hanging out with bros, now?
Zebe, you know I hate them.

You could just use the word, "lame".

Do we have to make fun of Anakin Skywalker in every newswire?

You misspelled Heat.

Oh yea, it's all pop. On a scale of 1-5, I expect all of these movies to remain in the 3-4 range, meaning they'll be good, very good, or great. They're not going to be groundbreaking, thought provoking, or masterful, but they are generally going to be entertaining. It's like a show where you record every new episode,

The inaction does bring doubt, but I do know that I have shown them things that they didn't care for, and they told me that directly.
As long as my recommendations are along the lines of, "hey, this show's sense of humor reminded me of you", and not, "hey, you should start liking this with me", they've been pretty

Do your friends generally put a lot of stock in your recommendations, but never get around to checking them out on their own?

Slingblade was innocent?

It's not insane, it's just an exaggeration!
(You're right. It shouldn't be labeled as "damning". You calling it insane just made me giggle a little bit.)

Seriously.
I haven't seen the documentary, but fuck that guy.

I think that's largely the case when it comes to fans of something. If it's not something that will fit in a person's budget, I don't see a major sin in "borrowing" it, by just viewing it once on a website. Especially if you had paid the cable bill and watched it live before you had a DVR.

I'm definitely not disagreeing with you here. {This is a lot of information, but it's crucial to prove that I'm not unsympathetic to this particular anxiety. I've kept it as clean as possible.] I can speak from experience, there's a lot of guys out there who get that anxiety while only having an average dick. That

That's my favorite episode of Season One. It took me three watches for it to become that though…that's when I noticed the pirates' walkie talkies were toys.

Damn…I have a link you could use, but I don't think I can post it without the comment getting pulled.

This past Christmas, I got Season 3&4 of Justified just so I could watch it once and then let a friend borrow it.

Won't you tell me how to get to AV Club After Dark?
Or…am I not welcome?
