I was fine with the Brotherhood stuff in the first three films. But, did she actually have a close relationship with Charles Xavier in the comic books?

Ugh, especially things that require other accents.
Yes!
I'm sorry, I disappointed myself…I had to go to Comic Vine.
Not that it would even make sense but…I would love to just see Magneto be so impressed by this guy's voice in this movie that he just starts doing an imitation of him when he's trying to intimidate people.
I really enjoy the movies and I still agree with you.
…I think Ian McKellen has a good voice for it, actually.
As goofy as that line is, Arnold actually made it work.
…for like three seconds, I thought your avatar was Mystique.
All three are doing fine, in my opinion. Nicholas Hoult too.
The two Mystiques and the two Sabertooths have been completely different though.
I mean, the lines are all hilarious…when the characters on the movie say it.
I feel the same way about Simpson quotes, actually. I got to watch all the classic episodes about three years after finding this website. I already knew most of the punchlines.
Actually, Fassbender has been killing it. Even though all the Magneto stories I read as a kid featured old magneto, I feel like he's the perfect man for the role.
(gasp)
Helen Mirren would make a fantastic Mystique!
Seeing Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart as Magneto and Professor X was a dream come true but…honestly, I'm really loving their younger counterparts more.
If we're talking about black x-men, screw Darwin. I just watched Days of Future Past a week ago and Bishop was just kind of there…much as Storm has been throughout the franchise.
I honestly don't mind Mystique being a little Tomboyish but…was she ever this big of a character in the comic books?
Similar complaint: I appreciate the added layers but, the first X-Men movie seems more and more separate from the franchise the further we go.
I'm not going to encourage any Sandbergery here.
I don't know that my mind wouldn't wander during Cosmos. I probably take movies way too seriously when I'm high. The Return of the Living Dead traumatized me while high, I kept wondering if Talladega Nights was supposed to be happening in the real world, I took a Robin Williams comedy special out of the DVD player and…
Here's how I think that would play out.
-Step One: He hops up quickly to prove to any onlookers that he's not hurt. It's an instinctual reaction, there are no onlookers. He's alone in his private gym.
-Step Two: This embarrasses him so, he becomes angry. He kicks the treadmill while yelling, "Way to go, stupid!"
-Step…
He really does seem grumpy but…happy, at the same time.
Hey, it's great when a celebrity likes meeting fans but…honestly, as long as they're doing good work and not committing felonies, I'm perfectly fine with them.
I've heard Christopher Lloyd has a similar temperament. I can't say I really blame them, honestly.
