In all honesty, I think everybody hated Dodd. Otto might have liked him but, I figure Floyd only tolerated him.

The, "next time on Fargo" bumper did show Hanzee talking on the phone, and it looked like it was with Floyd. I remember in last weeks episode, there was about two calls that got ignored and one that caused everybody to freak out. I figure the third call was Hanzee telling them that The Butcher killed Dodd.
It kind of seems silly to call Malvo a sexist. He was a cold-blooded killer, we're way beyond traits that are unpleasant at family dinners. Malvo was more of a people-ist. He pretty much saw himself as above our species entirely.
Oh, I was saying that Adam Carolla would see it as propaganda. It would just be re-enforcing things that his mom already believed in.
It was a bit of a stretch, actually. Generally, the locals would wait until after he left to make fun of him. Maybe one asshole would start some shit but, not the whole bar.
In the first season, Lou described these events as being removed from humanity or even things that animals would do. I think the UFO stuff is ultimately symbolic of that. What's more inhuman than aliens, right?
…alright, that's a pretty good username.
Ugh…so douchey.
For the record, I feel the same way about liberal rants about Death Wish and Lethal Weapon. Those movies aren't propaganda, they're just movies. They may reinforce beliefs that are already there but, they don't create beliefs.
I think she's one of those actresses that just wasn't going to be utilized well until she got older. She was pretty, she just wasn't "reinforcing unrealistic body standards for young people" pretty.
And yes, she's still pretty.
Thank god I'm not the only person who noticed that the title had the word plop in it.
…what's a Billy Jack rant?
Eh…maybe Ed had his fingers lodged in between his neck and the rope.
The newspaper is also a bit of a reach but…I honestly don't care. I'm enjoying this season so much, I'll allow it a little leeway if it keeps pumping out awesome stuff like this.
Basically, I haven't suspended my disbelief, I just flat out fired the…
How old is Hanzee, do you think? Early 40's, maybe?
I think he might have turned to crime out of desperation. There wouldn't be much opportunity for him as a native american in an honest job. He's good at killing people, the Gerhards probably cut him a decent paycheck and give him a modicum of respect. It's not full…
It would be a crime to end this season with only a cameo from Mike.
Wasn't he also the bad guy in Season 2 of Justified?
…as it pertains to a professional murderer on a tv show shooting people who aren't involved in his business. I doubt the writer thinks those murders would be justifiable in real life.
I think you're right.
That's a happy ending. Everybody knows his name there.
I don't think the word, spontaneous, even applies to this situation. For as long as he's been working for Dodd, surely the thought, "one day, I'm going to shoot this motherfucker in the head", has been in his head for ages. He just finally got the opportunity. He could even blame it on the butcher and go back to the…
Also, when you kill three people in broad daylight, two of them cops, and leave behind three witnesses, it's pretty obvious that people are going to be looking for you.
He shot Dodd in the head once and then fired at Lou and Hank five times.
