Or Bad Janet evolving into April.
Or Bad Janet evolving into April.
Jason is definitely Andy if anyone. Which would make Janet April, which also works because she’s jealous of Ann/Tahani and BFFs with Ron/Michael.
I think it’s more likely that The Good Place is a prequel to Parks & Rec. Eleanor is reborn as Leslie, Chidi is reborn as Ben, Tahani is reborn as Ann, Janet is reborn as Lucy, and Jason is reborn as Tom. Michael could possibly be Ron, which explains his many references to hell. Different universes, same multiverse.
And Ann Perkins was *literally* an angel.
I feel like there’s no way that Mona-Lisa Saperstein wasn’t expressly created to torture the people of Pawnee.
At one point Michael says that that all the demons (and I assume angels or whatever their good place counterpoints are) are assigned a human body in order to best understand how to torture humans. It’s possible that the bodies they are assigned aren’t new, but copies of existing bodies? Better question is why is…
After the Jezebel article about the Satanic Temple being harassed and then banned from Twitter, I finally went to their website and read all of the tenets and current activist projects they’re working on, including this Missouri case. They also have an initiative that combats evangelical after-school programs by…
“Religious freedom” goes both ways, fuckers. Good on you, Satanic Temple.
Wow love how quickly people read this frank discussion of how the economics of Hollywood disenfranchise women, and went; “Fuck her she said a mean thing about Faye Dunaway.”
I didn’t see it as a dig, quite the opposite. Faye Dunaway is a fucking legend but she doesn’t have the economic power to match, and the only explanation for that is sexism.
I think that was precisely her point - that a woman who is a goddamn legend, has no real financial power, especially compared to her male contemporaries like Warren Beatty.
She’s not dragging Faye, but rather pointing out how dispossable women are in Hollywood. Faye was huge in the late-60s/70s, was in films that made money, had massive critical acclaim, and an Oscar to boot. Then, she made two films that flopped, and her career was dead. She has tried resurrecting it - even going over…
My family went to Disney in 2013 and robot Obama received a standing ovation even before he “spoke.” It was lovely.
I kind of wish I was a super-fancy hacker who could break into what is undoubtedly an isolated system and put in my own choreography.
I’ve only been in there because it has air conditioning. Florida gets really hot.
When Trump is watching Washington speak, in my mind, he’s making farting noises.
They need to program all the other robots to facepalm/roll their eyes/cover their ears/fall dead once he starts talking. They are far too calm there in his company.
